Innoviz Technologies is expanding its defense footprint through a new collaboration with counter-drone specialist Regulus, aiming to improve the detection and tracking of low-flying aerial threats in environments where conventional sensors often struggle. The partnership combines Innoviz’s automotive-grade LiDAR technology with Regulus’ counter-unmanned aircraft systems expertise.
Together, the companies plan to strengthen situational awareness for military, homeland security, and critical infrastructure operators facing increasingly sophisticated drone threats. The effort also targets emerging fiber-optic controlled drones, which have become harder to detect and disrupt using traditional counter-UAS methods.
