11/18/2009 - MDAA Breaking News Alert
Dear
Members and Friends,
Yesterday evening the Senate approved the 2010 Military Construction-Veterans
Affairs spending bill and by unanimous consent a proposal by Senate
Appropriations Chairman Daniel Inouye to provide $68.5 million, redirected from
fiscal 2009 funds, to build an Aegis missile defense test site at the Pacific
Missile Range Facility on the western shores of Kaua'i, Hawaii.
We at MDAA applaud Senator Inouye and the United States Senate for passing this
critical amendment for missile defense.
